Contact and grievances
One address, a real person behind it, and a stated time to reply. Everything — a wrong answer key, a payment that did not credit, a request to delete your data — starts here.
In effect from 24 August 2026. This page supersedes any earlier version.

What happens when you write
- Within 48 hours — we acknowledge your message and give it a reference.
- Within 15 days — we resolve it, or tell you plainly why we cannot and what we are doing instead.
- Payment problems are looked at first, and usually the same day.
What to include
- The email address on your account — write from it if you can, it saves a round trip.
- For a payment: the payment or order identifier from your receipt, and the date.
- For a wrong answer key or explanation: the mock test number, the question number and the section, and why you think it is wrong. This is the most useful mail we get.
- For a data request: which right you are exercising — access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, or nomination.
If we do not resolve it
- A personal data complaint may be taken to the Data Protection Board of India under Section 13(3) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, once you have raised it with us first.
- A consumer complaint may be taken to the National Consumer Helpline (1915, consumerhelpline.gov.in) or to the consumer commission with jurisdiction over where you live, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
- A payment dispute may also be raised with your bank or card issuer, and with the payment gateway’s own grievance channel.
What this address is not for
We cannot answer questions about your actual GATE application, admit card, result, score card or admission. ARCH GATE has no connection to the bodies that conduct GATE and no access to any of that. Those questions go to the organising institute for the year in question, through the official GATE website.
